Mission Statement

We are an independent record label with a primary focus on artist development. We are interested in finding acts that have serious market potential and helping them to take their act to the next level.  With today’s market and the downfall of Normal Retail Channels, the business climate in a massive state of change and the opportunities for bands has never been better.  However, how do you stand out?  As we are only interested in working with Band that are serious enough to work at their craft, that are willing to TOUR and TOUR to hone their skills so that they can “BRING IT” live and to continue to write MORE SONGS as they are the road so that they have at LEAST THREE albums worth of material before we try to take them to a higher Level!

We have done a tremendous amount of research on Internet Promotion and our President was a shareholder and officer in On-Line Multimedia, Inc. the first company to bring music downloads to the Internet through it’s association with CompuServe which is now owned by AOL/Time Warner.

High Cotton is also a division of Music Square One which is a parent company to publishing companies, music education services and products, live recording services, as well a complete Internet  networking, marketing and promotion site for artists, songwriters, musicians, entertainers, and products and services related to the music industry. We are doing some NRC (normal retail channels) distribution but only on a limited as needed basis.  We believe in the power of the Internet and are committed to using this exciting and relatively new medium to increase the profit margins for our Artists. We plan to actively recruit bands and artists for joint venture releases and are willing to entertain offering tour support, marketing, distribution, video production and related services. Our goal is to help out as many artists, songwriters, and musicians as we can and to create an opportunity for our Artists to further their careers!
